The shepherds, trembling yet awestruck, left their flocks and hurried to Bethlehem. There, just as the angel had said, they found a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. They knelt before the newborn King, hearts brimming with wonder. But what happened after they left that holy scene? A Road Paved with Questions
The journey back to the hills was not filled with the same angelic music as their trip to Bethlehem. Instead, it was a quiet, contemplative trek, heavy with questions.

Yet, as days turned to weeks, the buzz began to fade for those who had heard their story. Life resumed its normal rhythms, and the shepherds found themselves back on the hills, tending their sheep.
Wrestling with Faith
Back among the sheep and stars, the shepherds began to wrestle with doubt. Had they truly seen angels? Was the child in the manger really the Messiah, or had they been caught up in the emotion of the moment?
One evening, as the fire crackled and the sheep rested, Micah addressed the group. “Do you remember how the angels spoke? They didn’t come to the priests or the scholars. They came to us—shepherds. Perhaps that’s the point. God chooses the humble to reveal His glory, just as He chose David, a shepherd, to be a king.”
